Within the Manufacturing department, you will intervene at the heart of production activities within a large-scale industrial perimeter, interacting with many different professions. You will manage a team of HSE facilitators present directly in the production sectors. Your working environment is shared between the field (workshops, pre-assembly, and on-board) and the offices, with a strong operational presence close to the teams. As such, your main missions are as follows:

  • Be an actor in the structuring and animation of the HSE progress strategy within manufacturing activities in connection with the objectives defined by the company, while ensuring its ownership by the operational teams,
  • Drive the continuous improvement of HSE performance by structuring daily practices, implementing clear standards, ensuring their proper application, and working on synergies with other progress themes on a daily basis (Quality, Lean for example ...),
  • Supervise and support a team of HSE facilitators by ensuring their skill development and coordinating their actions in the field,
  • Advise operational staff and/or Management on HSE and continuous improvement matters,
  • Ensure the daily application of our HSE process (prevention actions, event handling, participation in the animation of the multi-departmental HSE network, training, communication, audits, and controls).

This involves the following performance levers:

  • Definition and mastery of our standards on a daily basis,
  • Mastery of our HSE monitoring plans in order to identify deviations, prevent risks, and guarantee a high level of HSE requirements,
  • Animation of the dynamic for reporting and handling risky situations or anomalies, by promoting reactivity and team involvement,
  • Implementation of HSE performance management and monitoring tools comparable to those used for quality, deadlines, and costs, in order to durably anchor this culture in practices,
  • Development of business-specific actions
  • Analysis and handling of HSE events with a view to implementing lasting corrective actions,

Education level: BAC+5, Engineer, DESS, DEA

Experience: 5 to 10 years

  • With higher education (Bac +5 level), you ideally have significant experience in a demanding industrial environment. Your knowledge of HSE and/or risk management, as well as your knowledge of shipbuilding professions, constitute additional assets.
  • Your dynamism and leadership allow you to lead teams and unite them around HSE issues.
  • Your field presence and sense of practicality are essential to understand operational situations and effectively support teams.
  • You demonstrate rigor in following up on actions and in implementing standards, while being able to instill a dynamic of progress.
  • Your analytical capacity helps you identify risks, propose adapted solutions, and drive effective action plans.
  • A good ability to work transversally is indispensable to collaborate with different professions and integrate HSE issues into all activities.
  • A sensitivity to continuous improvement processes will be an additional asset for success in this position.
  • You are proficient in fluent English, which is indispensable for interacting with our customers and suppliers.
