Supplier Quality and Methods Engineer (M/F)
Job Description:

Integrated into the Armement Métier Quality team, you will intervene onboard ships and offshore electrical substations under construction. Your main missions are: You take charge of supplier quality assurance for arming services to ensure technical requirements are met and to obtain compliant achievements. You represent the company and its interests before suppliers.
You will contribute to risk analyses on projects and to their reduction through joint monitoring plans between the supplier and the shipyard.
You qualify new suppliers, their means, and their production methods and contribute to their selection.
You work in close connection with the quality teams in charge of deploying arming quality monitoring.
You maintain a diagnosis of non-qualities, contribute to analyzing the causes of malfunctions, and lead action plans to correct or prevent them (problem-solving methods).
You drive a continuous improvement approach shared with co-creators and with the various stakeholders of the company (Conception, Achats, Supply Chain, Montage, Mise en service, Garantie). In this capacity, you are the quality referent for your technical portfolio to the armement management.

Profile Description:
With a Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent experience, you have technical and industrial knowledge (materials, soudage, anti-corrosion systems, mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems, production techniques). You are a good communicator, convincing, pedagogical, and your technical curiosity allows you to understand and take into account the constraints and requirements of situations.
Autonomous and tenacious, you are in constant search of improvement and demonstrate leadership to bring the missions entrusted to you to successful completion.
Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking) is indispensable. Occasional travel in Europe is to be expected.

Day rate basis of 218 days
