Functions and responsibilities

• Perform audits and architecture reviews regarding WSO2 API Management
• Analyze existing architectures and formulate pragmatic and actionable technical recommendations

• Audit and optimize the configuration of WSO2 components (API Gateway, Publisher, Developer Portal, Key Manager, Traffic Manager)
• Examine and ensure the reliability of associated technical building blocks (reverse proxy, load balancer, databases, certificates, keystores, truststores, logs, throttling)

• Audit specific code developed around WSO2 API Manager
• Maintain and evolve API Management application architectures

• Contribute to technical architecture choices and API Management roadmaps
• Guarantee API best practices (security, versioning, documentation, governance, exposure, and consumption)

• Support teams in the adoption and skill development of API uses
• Participate in incident diagnosis, performance analysis, and stabilization actions

• Design and lead API performance tests (JMeter, Gatling)
• Automate deployment and operation processes (Ansible)

• Produce recommendations on the performance, security, exploitability, and maintainability of the platform

Qualities required to succeed in this role

With a Master's degree (Engineering school or University), you have at least 5 years of experience in API Management and WSO2 API Manager.

Your skills are as follows:

• Mastery of WSO2 API Manager in production environments
• Expertise in architecture, deployment, configuration, and operation of API Management platforms

• Good knowledge of WSO2 APIM components: API Gateway, Publisher, Developer Portal, Key Manager, Traffic Manager
• Mastery of API security and identity federation mechanisms (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML2, JWT, SSO)

• Management of tokens, scopes, and claims in secure architectures
• Experience in complex environments (VM, legacy, constrained infrastructures)

• Ability for analysis, diagnosis, and incident resolution (logs, troubleshooting)
• Experience with integration with identity providers (LemonLDAP::NG, FranceConnect, FranceConnect+)

• Ability to formalize clear, reasoned, and applicable technical recommendations
• English (B2)
