For several years, CGI has been building its service offering around artificial intelligence solutions. This offering is in full expansion, and we are currently looking for AI consultants to support our clients in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors.

As part of the acceleration of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI programs, we are looking for a Senior AI Architect capable of designing, structuring, and evolving AI solutions at an enterprise scale.

You will work on strategic projects involving intelligent assistants, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions, AI service platforms, and agentic systems (Agentic AI), while ensuring their robustness, security, compliance, and integration within the existing information system.

You will be the primary interlocutor for business, technical, security, and product teams to transform functional needs into industrialized and governed architectures.

Functions and responsibilities

AI Solution Architecture and Design

• Define and evolve reference architectures for AI and GenAI solutions.
• Design architectures based on LLM, conversational assistants, RAG solutions, and agentic systems.

• Guarantee the scalability, security, resilience, and maintainability of the implemented solutions.
• Participate in defining architecture standards and industrialization best practices.

Needs Analysis and Scoping

• Support business units in identifying and qualifying AI use cases.
• Conduct technical and functional feasibility studies.

• Translate business needs into suitable technological solutions.
• Evaluate the relevance of using an assistant, a RAG system, or an agentic architecture depending on the use cases.

Governance and Security

• Integrate security, compliance, and data governance requirements from the design stage.
• Define identity, authorization, traceability, and audit mechanisms for AI solutions.

• Participate in the implementation of AI governance frameworks and risk management.

Integration and Industrialization

• Design the integration of AI solutions within the existing IS.
• Define interoperability standards between applications, agents, and services.

• Support project teams in technological choices and implementation patterns.
• Contribute to the definition of shared AI platforms and services.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

• Define evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
• Participate in benchmarks of market models, tools, and frameworks.

• Evaluate the quality, robustness, performance, and drift of AI systems.
• Ensure active technological monitoring of evolutions in the AI and GenAI fields.

Required qualities to succeed in this role

With a Master's degree (Engineering school or University), you have at least 6 years of experience in the field of AI.

Your skills are as follows:

• Solid experience in modern AI architectures.
• Mastery of LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI concepts.

• Good understanding of prompting, tool calling, and agent orchestration mechanisms.
• Experience in the evaluation and selection of AI models.

• Knowledge of knowledge management and document retrieval architectures.
• English level B2 required.
