Automation Engineer in Design Office (M/F)

Job Description:

There are two ways to practice the profession of an automation engineer.

The first consists of programming PLCs.

The second, designing solutions, supporting their implementation, going out into the field, and seeing your projects come to life… sometimes on the other side of the world.

Our client is a company recognized for its expertise in the design and implementation of custom automated industrial solutions. Its teams support demanding industrial players on various projects, both in France and internationally.

As part of its development, we are recruiting an Automation Engineer / Project Manager (M/F).

A project does not stop at programming.

At our client's company, you are involved throughout the entire project.

You participate in needs analysis, technical choices, the development of automation under Siemens TIA Portal, testing, and then commissioning until final acceptance.

You do not just see the project on a screen.

You see it working.

International work is part of the job.

You will be required to intervene regularly at industrial sites in France and abroad.

These trips are an integral part of the role and represent a true asset: discovering new industrial environments, working with clients from different cultures, and supporting installations until their startup.

To this end, you will naturally communicate in English with your technical interlocutors.

You will have a real role in the projects.

You will take charge of functional analyses, PLC programming, electrical studies, FAT and SAT testing, commissioning, technical exchanges with clients, and the monitoring of your projects until their acceptance.

Beyond technical skills, we are looking for a person capable of proposing, analyzing, deciding, and supporting their projects with autonomy.

Profile Description:

You have a degree from a Bac+2 to Bac+5 program in automation, electrotechnics, or electrical engineering.

You master or wish to develop your skills in Siemens TIA Portal and possess a good level of English to evolve in an international context.
