Operations Planning Manager (m/f/d)

As an Operations Planner (m/f/d), you are responsible for the planning and optimization of logistics processes at the Lich location near Gießen. You will analyze data, develop solutions for process improvement, and work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth Supply Chain.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Data Analytics
• Initial professional experience up to several years of experience in the field of Operations Planning, Controlling, or Process Analysis is desirable
• Very good understanding of KPI management, process optimization, and reporting
• Proficient use of MS Excel, Power BI, as well as ideally WMS and ERP systems
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working with a high affinity for numbers
• Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for operational capacity and resource planning in close coordination with Inbound, Outbound
• Analysis and optimization of throughput and cycle times to increase productivity and process efficiency
• Management and further development of Standard Cost Allocation (SCA) for transparent cost distribution
• Creation, maintenance, and analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports
• Support in peak planning and implementation (e.g., Black Friday, seasonal high phases)
• Close cooperation with department heads to identify and implement improvement initiatives
• Use of data analytics to identify bottlenecks early and derive concrete measures
