Education:

Bachelor's degree.

Tasks:

• Consult with other health care professionals to evaluate treatment plans .
• Interview patients .
• Record observations.
• Review reports from health care professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning levels.
• Write progress reports .
• Prepare a treatment plan for each patient.
• Provide education to clients regarding health promotion and injury prevention, management and treatment.
• Implement treatment plans.
• Analyze the patient during the treatments.
• Initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs.
• Design specialized therapy programs to maintain, rehabilitate or enhance movement, musculoskeletal functioning and performance in sports, work and recreation.

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :

• Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial or territorial professional association.
• CPR Certificate.
