Methods & Continuous Improvement Technician
At a manufacturing production site (3x8 shifts), you will work within the Process department to participate in the industrialization of new parts, as well as the optimization of manufacturing methods.
This site, equipped with automated and robotic production lines, is subject to strict requirements in terms of quality, productivity, and deadline compliance, within a dynamic and constantly evolving technological environment.
As a Methods & Continuous Improvement Technician, you will be involved in the following activities:
- You analyze and propose improvements on production lines (assembly, painting, plastic injection) by applying Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies to reduce cycle times and eliminate waste.
- You participate in the implementation of standards (operating sequences, job sheets, work instructions) to ensure the repeatability and quality of operations.
- You collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve malfunctions, integrating the constraints of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- You contribute to the creation and updating of technical documents (AMDEC, control plans, cause trees) to guarantee product traceability and compliance.
- You assist operators and line managers in adopting new methods and tools, by training and supporting teams in the field.
- You participate in continuous improvement projects (scrap reduction, flow optimization, ergonomics improvement) using tools such as PDCA, Six Sigma, or Ishikawa diagrams.
- You propose innovative solutions to improve productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction, in collaboration with the quality, logistics, and R&D departments.
Holding a BTS or DUT in Génie Mécanique, Productique, or Méthodes Industrielles, ideally supplemented by a Licence professionnelle in Amélioration Continue, Lean Manufacturing, or Industrialisation, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, imperatively in an industrial environment (automotive, aeronautics, etc.): methods, industrialization and/or continuous improvement.
You must master Lean, 5S, or Kaizen tools in a production environment.
You master analysis and improvement tools: AMDEC, PDCA, Pareto diagrams, Ishikawa, SMED.
You are able to read and interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
You are accustomed to collaborating closely with production teams, as well as with central teams (in French and occasionally in English) in order to deploy "group" continuous improvement processes.
Directly involved in the field, you demonstrate rigor and an analytical mind, allowing you to identify complex problems and propose pragmatic solutions.
You demonstrate remarkable teamwork and pedagogical skills, allowing you to train and support operators and technicians in the adoption of new methods.
You master technical English (minimum B1 level) to collaborate with international teams or suppliers.
