Fenland Youth Hub Manager

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We offer a range of high-quality services to young people aged up to 25, including information and support on a “drop in” basis, mental health services, counselling, housing and financial advice, sexual health support and support for young carers.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage the Youth Hub in Fenland, as part of the Youth Guarantee Trailblazer programme (Year 2). Building on our established ‘Someone to Talk to’ drop-in in Wisbech, the Hub will provide place-based, holistic support to young people aged 13 – 25, particularly those who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) or at risk of disengagement.

The successful candidate will line manage the Hub team in Wisbech, with some outreach across Fenland, and build strong local partnerships with job coaches, other Trailblazer-funded support and local authority NEET teams. They will oversee quality assurance, data and reporting, act as day-to-day safeguarding lead for the Hub, and adapt this test-and-learn offer in response to what works for young people.

We are looking for a warm and motivated leader with experience of line managing a team and of setting up or developing a new service. A Level 4 qualification in a relevant field such as Youth Work, Careers Guidance or Social Work (or significant equivalent experience) and strong safeguarding knowledge are essential.

Some evening and occasional weekend working may be required to meet the needs of young people. A full driving licence and access to a car are required.
