bakery manager - retail

Central Sask. Co-op is hiring a Bakery/Deli Manager for our Food Store in Humboldt SK.

What you'll do:

• Lead the Bakery/Deli team in a manner that demonstrates day-to-day behaviors that align with and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and brand.
• Manage the Bakery/deli Department in accordance with the company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards and overall expectations.
• Recruit, train, develop, coach and motivate the bakery/deli team.
• Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards.
• Perform team performance reviews and action plans for development.
• Manage inventory levels and lead scheduled inventory procedures.
• Develop sales promotion programs to grow the bakery/deli business.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, financial and marketing strategies.
• Develop and administer action plans to achieve the desired results of the business plan.
• Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of operational and financial results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years retail experience.
• Must have a minimum 2-3 years experience managing/supervising others.
• Previous retail management, deli or bakery experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and the ability to manage computer files efficiently.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership and communications skills.
• You are honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
