*Job Summary*

We are a modern clinic in Markham; looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

*Responsibilities*

• Perform dental cleanings, take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
• Assist the dentist during examinations
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Cleardent
• Manage patient appointments efficiently and ensure a smooth flow of clinical operations
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols according to OSHA standards
• Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive, welcoming environment for all patients

*Skills*

• Experience in dental assisting or working within a dental office setting is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety

• HARP certificate
