Site Quality Manager
We are looking for an experienced Site Quality Manager for a construction and installation project. This is a consulting assignment. The location is Kiruna, Sweden . The position is full-time . The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, requiring a high degree of flexibility and strong collaboration skills. The Assignment As Site Quality Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up quality management activities at site. The role includes ensuring that quality processes, inspections, documentation, and corrective actions are carried out in accordance with the contract and agreed project procedures. Your responsibilities will include: Establishing and maintaining project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for site activities and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Following up the quality inspection process and ensuring that responsible supervisors and installation teams perform their own inspections and basic inspections according to agreed plans and procedures.
Coordinating third-party inspections, including NDT inspections, and ensuring appropriate actions are taken when deviations are identified.
Coordinating and arranging inspections together with the client, including witness points and hold points as specified in the contract.
Participating in weekly and site meetings and reporting on quality management progress across the different site areas.
Using Dalux for documentation management and quality tracking.
Organising and following up activities according to the project's daily management model.
Identifying and managing deviations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Performing root cause analysis and implementing actions to minimise the risk of recurring non-conformities.
Preparing and delivering quality documentation and reports to the client as agreed.
Ensuring that subcontractors understand and comply with the project's quality management requirements.
Introducing and reviewing scope-specific ITPs together with responsible supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
Managing the handover documentation process and ensuring that required documentation is collected and submitted to the client correctly and on time.
Collaborating with the Project Manager and the wider project team regarding quality and risk management.
Coaching and supporting site management, installation teams, and subcontractors in quality-related matters.
Organising site meetings and reporting on quality activities and progress.
Requirements We are looking for a candidate with relevant education and professional experience suitable for the role. You should have relevant experience in areas such as: Quality management and quality follow-up in construction and/or installation projects.
Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Quality inspections and inspection processes.
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and deviation management.
Root cause analysis.
Third-party inspections and NDT inspections.
Witness points and hold points.
Quality management and follow-up of subcontractors.
Handover documentation and document management.
Quality and risk management.
Digital quality and documentation management systems, preferably Dalux.
Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
You are structured, quality-focused, and communicative, with the ability to coordinate quality activities between several stakeholders. You are comfortable working closely with project management, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and the client.
