Your tasks

The Assignment A transport authority is looking for an experienced assistant project manager for an extensive investment project within the Stockholm subway.

The assignment is mainly linked to the procurement and introduction of new subway cars within project C30, with a project budget exceeding 8 billion SEK.

The consultant shall support the project manager with follow-up of deliveries, warranty management, handover, and coordination between the project organization, suppliers, and traffic operators. The role also involves participation in the project's steering group and responsibility for selected project activities.

Support the project manager with project management, follow-up, and administration.

Coordinate and follow up on project meetings and internal collaboration forums.

Be responsible for the handover of vehicles, documentation, spare parts, and special tools.

Drive and follow up on deliveries towards suppliers and traffic operators.

Handle warranty issues and participate in warranty follow-up meetings.

Participate in internal approval processes and handle change matters.

Report to the project manager and participate in the project's steering group.

Requirements

Requirements (Note, mandatory) At least 6 years of experience in project management within development projects in the railway industry.

At least 5 years of experience in projects within public sector operations.

At least 10 years of experience working with railway projects with international actors, with oral and written communication in English. The most recent experience must be within the last 5 years.

Civil engineering degree in electrical, marine, or mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience as a project manager/assistant project manager in a rail vehicle procurement project.

At least 7 years of work with ILS and PI issues within rail vehicle projects. The most recent experience must be within the last 5 years. The experience must include spare parts supply, warranty management, LCC follow-up, and reliability verification.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious The consultant shall have collaborated with a traffic/maintenance operator regarding maintenance-related issues for at least 5 years.

The consultant shall have worked with the handover or introduction of technical systems or vehicles to an operating organization for at least 5 years.

At least 5 years of experience working with the deployment of a new vehicle type or the deployment of an existing vehicle type on a new track.
