Quality Manager – construction production
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager at a construction site for a project within construction and installation.
This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Kiruna.
The position is full-time.
The assignment involves close cooperation with the customer, which places high demands on flexibility and the ability to collaborate.
The Assignment
This is a consulting assignment where you will play a central role in the project's quality work. You will work closely with project management, site organization, installation groups, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers.
Tasks
As a Site Quality Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on the quality work at the construction site. The role involves, among other things, ensuring that the project's quality processes, inspections, and documentation are carried out according to the contract and established working methods.
You will, among other things:
establish and maintain project-specific ITP (Inspection and Test Plans) for activities at the construction site
follow up on quality and inspection processes
ensure that responsible foremen and installation teams perform self-inspections and basic inspections according to plan
coordinate third-party inspections, for example NDT inspections
coordinate and follow up on witness points and hold points according to the contract
participate in weekly and construction site meetings as well as report the status of the quality work
handle deviations and NCR (Non-Conformance Reports)
perform or coordinate root cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions
handle quality-related documentation and follow-up in Dalux
ensure that subcontractors are aware of and work according to the project's quality requirements
introduce and review relevant ITP together with responsible foremen and subcontractors
coordinate handover documentation and ensure that the documentation is submitted to the customer in the agreed manner and on time
collaborate closely with project managers and the rest of the project organization regarding quality and risk management
support and guide site management, installation teams, and subcontractors in quality matters
organize meetings and report the progress of the quality work.
Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)
For the assignment, we are looking for someone who has relevant education and experience for the role, as well as documented experience in quality work within construction, civil engineering, or installation projects.
You should have experience in several of the following areas:
Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
quality management and quality follow-up at a construction site
ITP, Inspection and Test Plans
quality inspections and self-inspections
NCR and deviation management
root cause analysis
third-party inspections and NDT
witness points and hold points
quality assurance and follow-up of subcontractors
handover and quality documentation
risk and quality management
digital document and quality management, preferably Dalux.
As a person, you are structured and communicative and have the ability to coordinate quality work between several different actors. You need to be able to work closely with both project management and site organization as well as subcontractors and suppliers.
