*Job Description*
Centex Petroleum is looking for a reliable and motivated Cashier to join our team for the overnight (graveyard) shift at our Calgary location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring smooth store operations during overnight hours.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Process cash, debit, credit, and fuel transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized store, including shelves, counters, coffee stations, and washrooms.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise as required.
- Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fuel-related inquiries.
- Follow all company policies, cash-handling procedures, and safety protocols.
- Monitor store activities and report any suspicious behaviour or safety concerns to management.
- Complete assigned overnight cleaning and restocking duties.
- Prepare the store for the morning shift and ensure a smooth handover.
*Qualifications & Requirements*
- Previous cashier, retail, or convenience store experience is an asset.
- Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable handling cash transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting.
- Must follow all company safety and security procedures.
