Control, Command and Testing Engineer (M/F)

As a member of the Electronic Systems Department (13 people), and under the responsibility of your manager, you will take charge of the development of control laws and the associated testing and characterization of mechatronic systems used in dynamic applications.

These laws will improve their precision and dynamics and will be embedded on real-time microcontrollers.

Your missions range from design to validation through laboratory testing.

You will join a motivated team of electronic engineers/technicians and work in synergy with the skills of the multidisciplinary team: analog, low-noise sensors, instrumentation, power, digital, control, embedded firmware.

In this context, you are in charge of:

• Establishing pre-sales feasibility based on advanced modeling
• Contributing to the development of new control algorithms using simulation software
• Designing PID / non-linear type control laws including robustness studies
• Interacting with other company departments to address system issues
• Performing functional validation tests as well as qualification test campaigns
• Providing support to the firmware team for the generation of embedded code

You are a graduate engineer in control-command from an Engineering school or a Technological University and have at least 1 year of experience (including internships and work-study programs) in the development of control command strategies applied to mechatronics.

You have performed tests involving the identification and tuning of systems in order to enrich your models and obtain the expected control performance.

You have a good mastery of:

• Control law design tools and techniques: MATLAB/SIMULINK, HIL, SIL
• The use of measurement / testing means to test your control strategies
• Writing support/justification documents
• Technical English (minimum B2)

Ideally, you have knowledge in the following areas:

• Robust control
• Rapid prototyping around platforms such as DSPACe or SpeedGoat
• National Instruments products (DAQ boards, signal express,..)
• Physical measurements
• Coding laws into real-time embedded platforms
• Programming in python for data analysis

Your analytical and synthesis skills are true assets on a daily basis.

You have a creative and rigorous spirit and have the ability to work in a team and autonomously to successfully complete assigned projects.

You are curious, you like to take initiative, and your interpersonal skills are recognized.

REMUNERATION & PACKAGE

• Annual gross salary range: 40-45k
• Advantageous salary policy (bonuses, annual increase, profit-sharing with employer matching, company savings plan, RTT's with possibility of buyout, etc.)
• Day schedule - Monday to Friday / 1 day of teleworking
• CADRE status - individualized schedule according to the company's working time agreement
