Industrial Design Project Manager in Mechanics (M/F)

Your tasks

Within the company, you will hold global responsibility for your projects, from their technical success to their proper execution. You will intervene across the entire development cycle: from feasibility studies in pre-sales to the production of pre-series, including prototype development.

In parallel, you will lead several high-stakes mechatronic projects in demanding contexts that stimulate your sense of initiative.

• Guarantee the design and performance of the system, by mobilizing your expertise and the full range of multidisciplinary skills within the company;
• Contribute to the design justification elements and ensure their consistency with client specifications;
• Conduct risk analyses and risk reduction actions;
• Lead the project team and ensure progress reporting;
• Manage projects on technical, financial, and scheduling levels during the R&D phase;
• Provide technical support to junior engineers and challenge experts to optimize product performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Engineer graduated from a generalist engineering school, a mechanics school, or a technology university;
• Successful experience of several years on projects with high technical content in a demanding sector (aeronautics, space, or defense);
• Solid technical skills, as well as excellent writing and synthesis abilities, which are decisive for the success of your projects;
• Recognized leadership: you know how to unite multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with various stakeholders (mechanics, electronics, optics, manufacturing, testing);
• Rigorous and well-organized, you manage several large-scale projects simultaneously while securing critical milestones;
• Fluent English (B2 level required).

What we offer

• Gross annual salary range: 49k to 60k;
