PRODUCTION MANAGER

lead day-to-day production operations (printing, die-cutting/converting, and production planning) to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

Deliver production output and customer service levels: plan capacity, manage bottlenecks, and ensure on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery while maintaining required quality standards.

Drive productivity and cost: manage labour utilization, overtime, and conversion cost; identify and execute cost-down initiatives (target setting agreed with management).

Lead continuous improvement across 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method): standard work, 5S, visual management, problem solving (RCA/8D), and waste reduction (scrap, rework, downtime).

Own key operational KPIs (e.g., OEE, scrap %, set-up time, OTIF, customer complaints, labour productivity) and run daily/weekly performance routines with corrective actions.

Lead change management on the shop floor: improve discipline, attendance and adherence to SOPs; coach supervisors/operators and address performance issues promptly and fairly.

Accelerate technology adoption: support ERP/MRP accuracy, implement/upgrade shopfloor systems (MRPII/MES/traceability where applicable), and drive automation/digital workflow projects with measurable ROI.

Ensure compliance with Quality, EHS and regulatory requirements; lead investigations for non-conformities/incidents and implement preventive actions.

Partner with Sales/Customer Service to align priorities, manage urgent orders/changes, and communicate realistic lead times and risks.

Develop people and bench strength: train and qualify operators, build multi-skilling, and create a pipeline of supervisors/technicians; conduct performance reviews and training plans.

Own plant housekeeping and discipline standards (5S), including audits and sustained follow-up.

Support budgeting/forecasting, capex justification, and monthly operations reporting for senior management (cost, output, losses, improvement progress).

Participate actively in Continuous Improvement activities and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Participate actively to prevent nonconformity relating to product, internal processes and clauses related to QMS, EMS and Labor & Ethics Management Systems.
