PC Technician & IT Support Specialist (Thessaloniki)
Our group of companies is urgently seeking a PC Technician & IT Support Specialist for full-time employment at our facilities in Thessaloniki. The ideal candidate will staff the IT department, undertaking daily technical support for the group's users, equipment management, and hardware/software fault recovery.
Main Responsibilities:
1st Level IT Support: Technical support (Helpdesk) to ~30 users (local & remote) for Windows, MS Office, printers, and corporate applications issues. Hardware Repair & Diagnostics: Diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of equipment (Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Smartphones). Workstation Deployment: Preparation, configuration (format, software installation, cloning), and installation of new workstations. Network & Peripherals: Basic management and troubleshooting of local networks (LAN/Wi-Fi), peripherals (printers, scanners), and IP telephony. Inventory Management: Receipt, recording, spare parts warehouse management, and monitoring of equipment for repair/replacement.
Required Qualifications:
University / TEI / IEK / College Degree in Informatics, Computer Technology, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a similar IT Support / Hardware Technician position. Good knowledge of hardware repair (replacement of screens/batteries in laptops & tablets, fault diagnosis). Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and MS Office environment. Basic networking knowledge (Ethernet, TCP/IP, Router/Switching, Wi-Fi). Good knowledge of English (technical terminology). Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).
Desired Qualifications (Will be considered an additional asset):
Knowledge of basic Windows Server / Active Directory management principles. Basic knowledge of Linux systems. Experience in using ERP systems (e.g., Pylon / Odoo). Communication skills and a collaborative spirit. Benefits:
