The System Landscape Transformation (SLT) division of cbs is one of the supporting pillars of our consulting and product offering. Whether data conversions, migrations between SAP systems, from non-SAP to SAP, or Selective Data Transition – the SLT division accompanies and advises our customers on a professional and technical level on their individual path of digital data and system transformation using our standard software cbs ET Enterprise Transformer for SAP S/4HANA®.
Your focus is deliberately outside of classic project work: you work primarily on the further development of methods, templates, and standards – not on the operational implementation in customer projects. With the increasing number and complexity of our transformation projects, the importance of standardized, scalable solutions grows. This is exactly where your role begins. You work in the Transformation Design Studio and actively develop our transformation methodology, templates, and standards further – based on real project experiences. The goal is to standardize successful solutions and make them reusable for future projects. In doing so, you create the foundation for efficient, high-quality, and scalable transformation projects worldwide. For this activity, we are looking for experienced SAP Transformation Engineers (m/f/d).
What awaits you You contribute to the further development of the Landscape Transformation division Independent and proactive way of working in the team
You analyze results from transformation projects and identify best practices as well as optimization potential
You transfer project-specific solutions into standardized, reusable approaches and templates
You continuously develop and optimize our template and rule set for data transformations
You work intensively with our standard software cbs ET Enterprise Transformer for SAP S/4HANA® and further develop its application and methodology
Internally, you bring your expertise into our project teams, help to further develop our know-how, and pass your knowledge on to other colleagues
You act as a coach and mentor for junior colleagues and our project teams

What we desire (Multi-year) project experience as an SAP application consultant, SAP Solution Architect, or SAP developer with sound know-how in the field of Finance or Logistics
Enthusiasm for solving demanding challenges in data transformation projects, such as data model changes between ECC and S/4HANA systems or different configurations in source and target systems
Understanding of complex organizational changes (SAP Merge, SAP Carve-out, SAP Split, SAP Reorganization) and their impact on the data structure
Initial experience in data migration and/or SAP-SLO projects desirable
Good integration knowledge across several SAP modules as well as technical understanding of the SAP data model and at the level of SAP tables
Ideally programming knowledge in ABAP / ABAP-OO and SAP HANA
Enjoyment in penetrating challenges analytically and mastering them with a clearly solution-oriented, logical approach
Interest in continuous improvement, standardization, and scaling, as well as the associated enablement of our consultants
Strong understanding of data structures, data flows, and connections in complex system landscapes
Ability to prepare complex content in a structured manner and present it understandably for different target groups
High personal quality standards for the implemented solutions
Structured way of working and proactive assumption of responsibility
Very good English skills, German skills desirable
