Job Description:

as Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, the main function is to ensure that all Facilities Management operations, infrastructure maintenance, and subcontractor activities managed by CBRE at the client's plants in Mexico and the United States are fully aligned with the client's Responsible Business Principles (RBP).

The main functions include:

  • Overseeing and executing social compliance reviews for all external providers managed by CBRE (cleaning services, physical security, food services, and technical service contractors).
  • Ensuring that all provider personnel working on-site are treated in accordance with the client's fundamental RBP principles (auditing practices related to fair wages, legal working hours, voluntary work, and non-discrimination).
  • Conducting periodic assessments and internal compliance audits to identify vulnerabilities related to external provider labor or unsafe operating practices in accordance with the client's guidelines (RBP).
  • Collaborating with CBRE's Procurement and Operations teams to issue Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to providers that do not comply with RBP standards.
  • Conducting physical on-site walkthroughs and documentary audits to verify that providers have permanently corrected identified infractions.
  • Preparing periodic follow-up reports, documenting the progress of findings and the management of cases reported to the global FM team and the client.
  • Training CBRE Facility Managers, Project Managers, and Procurement teams to identify and report compliance risks related to RBP principles.
  • Providing workshops to new facility providers to incorporate the client's ethical and labor expectations into the delivery of their services.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Extensive knowledge of international labor standards (OIT/ILO), the SA8000 standard, and supplier management in multinational environments.
  • Knowledge of the Mexican REPSE regulation.

Skills:

  • Excellent intercultural communication.
  • Analytical capacity to identify and map risks.
  • Ability to positively influence the behavior and compliance of external providers and contractors.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in corporate social compliance management, ethical sourcing, or supplier audits, preferably within Corporate Real Estate (CRE) or Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) environments.

Education:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree and/or Engineering.
  • Advanced conversational English – INDISPENSABLE
  • Availability to travel.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance.
