BIM Engineer

Responsible for BIM modeling and model development for architectural, interior fit-out, and related construction works based on design drawings and project requirements.

Prepare, update, and maintain BIM models, shop drawings, and construction drawings in accordance with approved design documents and project standards.

Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, MEP, and other disciplines, and identify and resolve design conflicts and technical issues through BIM coordination and clash detection.

Participate in design review, technical coordination meetings, and BIM coordination meetings with the consultant, main contractor, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

Assist the project team in developing construction details, material layouts, and installation solutions based on BIM models and site conditions.

Review and verify shop drawings and BIM models to ensure consistency with approved drawings, specifications, and actual site conditions.

Provide BIM support for construction activities, including quantity verification, construction sequencing, technical coordination, and site problem-solving.

Update BIM models according to approved design changes, RFIs, variations, and site modifications, and maintain accurate model information throughout the project lifecycle.

Assist in preparing as-built BIM models and relevant documentation for project handover and closeout.

Perform other BIM-related technical and coordination tasks assigned by the project management team.

Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of relevant BIM experience in construction, interior fit-out, architectural, or engineering projects. Experience in large-scale commercial or overseas projects is preferred.

Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, or other BIM-related software is preferred.

Ability to independently develop and maintain BIM models and prepare detailed shop drawings based on design drawings and project requirements.

Good understanding of architectural and construction drawings, construction methods, and coordination between different disciplines.

Experience in BIM clash detection, model coordination, design optimization, and technical problem-solving.

Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.

Able to work independently, meet project schedules, and handle multiple tasks under pressure.

Good English communication skills, both written and spoken. Arabic or Chinese language skills are an advantage.

Candidates with experience in overseas construction projects, particularly in Egypt or the Middle East, will be given preference. Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
