Senior Simulation Engineer (Engineer - Mechanical Engineering)

Job Description - Internal

Task:

• Dynamic and Structural FEA calculations on core components
• Independent definition of boundary conditions for complex calculations and their verification
• Independent execution of calculations
• Independent evaluation and creation of recommendations based on simulation results
• Analysis and further development of simulation possibilities in the field of engines and systems
• Organization, guidance, and supervision of simulation projects in cooperation with global teams
• Technical responsibility for the department

Requirement:

• Dipl.-Ing. (TU/FH) Maschinenbau (m/f) or comparable degree
• Professional experience in the field of simulation on medium-speed engines desirable
• Independent project execution in the field of engines/systems within budget, time, and quality targets
• Knowledge in the field of Diesel, Gas and Dual Fuel technology
• Knowledge in the field of Windchill, Creo, ABAQUS, DYNASTY and GT Power
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as commitment
• Willingness to travel
