Hostess

As a Hostess at Indus Restaurant, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming and assisting guests while ensuring a smooth dining experience. The role also supports the service team during busy periods, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and assisting with daily restaurant operations. Key responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival
• Manage guest seating and assist with table arrangements
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow
• Assist the service team during busy hours when needed
• Support taking orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and other service duties
• Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests

Requirements:

• Previous experience in restaurant service or as a Hostess is preferred
• Candidates with a service background are highly preferred as the position will also assist the service team
• Friendly, confident, and well-groomed
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, proactive, and a good team player
