farm machinery operator

Your tasks

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (tractors, combines, seeders, sprayers, trucks, grain augers, etc.).
• Assist with planting, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting grain crops.
• Load and unload grain trucks and bins.
• Perform general farm maintenance such as fencing, yard upkeep, and minor equipment repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist with other duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating large modern farm equipment an asset .
• Valid drivers license (Class 1A or 3A preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours, including weekends during peak seasons.
• Reliable, hardworking, attention to detail and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing conditions and technology.

Start Date: Spring 2027 - Work is seasonal and subject to weather conditions.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions (dusty, hot, noisy).
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 100 lbs, physically demanding.
• Extended hours, fast paced with tight deadlines during seeding and harvest seasons.
