Your tasks

The Opportunity We are looking for a person to act as Tech Lead for the Research, Development, and Innovation (PD&I) squad, within the On Demand Services structure, serving as the main technical reference in the conception, architecture, development, and evolution of technological solutions. This position will play a fundamental role in the technical leadership of the team, ensuring the application of software engineering best practices, code quality, scalability, security, and efficiency of the developed solutions. The professional will act directly in the development of applications, integrations between systems, automations, cloud solutions, and technological innovation initiatives, contributing to the continuous evolution of the On Demand services portfolio. In addition to technical activities, they will have a consultative role alongside the Commercial area, supporting meetings with clients, identifying opportunities, technical feasibility assessments, scope definition, preparation of estimates, and presentation of proposed solutions. We are looking for a person with solid experience in software development, architectural vision, leadership capacity, and business understanding, who can connect technical challenges to client needs and has an interest in exploring new technologies.

Responsibilities and assignments

• Act as the main technical reference for the PD&I squad, supporting the team in solution definition, technical decision-making, and resolution of high-complexity problems;
• Technically lead the development of applications, APIs, integrations, automations, and customized solutions, using technologies such as Python, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and other languages as project needs require;
• Actively participate in the conception, architecture, development, and evolution of technological solutions, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and ease of maintenance;
• Define and disseminate software engineering best practices, architectural patterns, code quality, automated testing, and technical documentation;
• Perform code reviews, guide implementation decisions, and support the resolution of technical impediments;
• Conduct technical refinements, architecture discussions, requirements analysis, and feasibility assessments for new demands;
• Support the definition and evolution of cloud architectures, especially in AWS environments, considering best practices for security, availability, and resource optimization;
• Contribute to the implementation and evolution of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, deployment automation, and DevOps practices;
• Support the analysis and resolution of critical incidents, root cause identification, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions;
• Promote the technical and professional development of the team through mentoring, feedback, individual meetings, performance evaluations, and knowledge sharing;
• Research, evaluate, and propose new technologies, frameworks, and approaches that contribute to the innovation and evolution of the On Demand services portfolio;
• Act together with the Commercial area in analyzing opportunities, understanding client needs, and defining technically viable solutions;
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, including scope definition, effort estimates, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria;
• Participate in technical and commercial meetings with clients, presenting architectures, technological alternatives, and implementation recommendations;
• Contribute to monitoring quality, deadline, productivity, cost, revenue, and client satisfaction indicators;
• Encourage a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the squad.

Requirements

Requirements and qualifications

• Solid experience in software development, with mastery of at least one programming language, preferably Python, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies;
• Experience in the development of backend applications, REST APIs, and integrations between systems;
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and development best practices;
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
• Knowledge of cloud computing services, preferably AWS;
• Familiarity with code versioning using Git and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices;
• Experience in technical requirements analysis, solution definition, and complex problem-solving;
• Experience in technical leadership or management of software development teams;
• Experience conducting management rituals, including individual meetings (1:1), feedback, and performance evaluations;
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban;
• Intermediate English.

You will stand out if you have

• Completed higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related areas;
• Experience in developing solutions using Artificial Intelligence, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and integration with AI APIs;
• Knowledge of frameworks and tools focused on building AI solutions, such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar;
• Experience with intelligent process automation, AI agents, and solutions based on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG);
• Experience in Research, Development, and Innovation (PD&I) projects, including proofs of concept, prototyping, and evaluation of new technologies.
