Sales Representative Western Europe (m/f/d)

Introduction

On behalf of Mamata Machinery Limited, and together with its Western-European partner Carpentier Packaging GmbH, we are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to develop new business, manage customer relationships and promote Mamata's packaging machinery portfolio, achieving annual sales targets across Germany and Western Europe. This is a rare opportunity to build up a division with real ownership, backed by a globally recognized manufacturer and an established German engineering partner.

ABOUT CARPENTIER PACKAGING GMBH

Carpentier Packaging GmbH, based in Schornsheim, Germany, is a technology leader in carton packaging machinery and the world market leader for fish-finger packaging lines. With a team of around 50 experienced engineers, technicians and toolmakers and its own machining and sheet-metal production, Carpentier develops complete, customized solutions — from carton forming and cartoning to end-of-line tray and case packing, conveying and top-load robotics. Its standard equipment relies on the latest servo-drive and bus technologies, engineered to maximize machine availability and minimize total cost of ownership. Renowned customers include Frosta, Iglo / Frozen Fish, apetito and Wagner. Carpentier is part of the Kai Capital group and represents and supports Mamata's business across Western Europe.

Tasks

• Business development — identify and qualify new customers, develop annual territory growth plans, and build a strong CRM pipeline across Germany and Western Europe.
• Sales — promote HFFS, VFFS, Pouch and Bag Making, Multilane and Secondary Packaging systems; deliver customer presentations and demonstrations, prepare commercial proposals and negotiate terms to close orders.
• Customer relationships — build long-term partnerships and support customers from first inquiry through to commissioning.
• Market intelligence — monitor competitors and market trends and provide monthly market reports.
• Trade shows — represent Mamata at leading exhibitions such as interpack, FachPack, Anuga FoodTec and EMPACK.
• Reporting — maintain the CRM and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.

Profile

• Education — Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging Technology, Business or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
• Experience — 5–10 years in international capital-equipment sales; packaging-machinery sales experience preferred.
• Skills — consultative selling, negotiation, technical aptitude, strong presentation skills, CRM proficiency and excellent communication.
• Languages — fluent German (mandatory) and professional English (mandatory).
