On behalf of a manufacturing company, we are looking for a

Senior Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Support of budget planning, liquidity management, and regular reporting of actual figures
• Ensuring smooth financial accounting, including account reconciliation and execution of relevant closing entries
• Coordination of intercompany reconciliations (including pricing)
• Close cooperation with the Head of Accounting as well as technical support for the team in day-to-day business
• Point of contact for external partners such as tax advisors and auditors
• Continuous optimization and further development of existing processes in accounting
• Preparation of management reports and reports to support decision-making

Qualification

• Completed commercial training with further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or a degree in economics with a focus on finance/accounting
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in the environment of a manufacturing company
• Very good knowledge of commercial law (HGB) and routine experience in the preparation of financial statements
• Proficient use of ERP systems as well as common accounting programs; proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Analytical mindset combined with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High degree of independence, sense of responsibility, and strong team orientation
• Openness towards digitalization topics and enjoyment of process optimization
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
