Sr Systems Analyst (TOTVS Protheus)

As a Sr Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting, coordinating, and guiding strategic solutions in the Protheus ecosystem, applying expertise in business processes, systems architecture, and critical requirements analysis, leading technical teams in customizations, integrations, and complex projects.
Responsibilities and assignments

- Act as a technical reference for the team, guiding architecture decisions, conducting technical reviews, and establishing development standards for Mid-level and Junior analysts.
- Perform in-depth gathering of requirements and complex business rules (LP, TES, taxes, fiscal, flows), validating and negotiating scope with business areas and stakeholders.
- Participate in the strategic planning of projects, contributing to the definition of the technical roadmap and high-impact decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations between Protheus and other systems, using APIs and Web Services (REST and SOAP).
- Lead Protheus release update projects, coordinating the planning, validation, training, Go Live, and Post-Go Live stages.
- Develop and implement high-complexity customizations and improvements in TOTVS Protheus, using ADVPL/TLPP and entry points.
- Perform evolutionary and corrective maintenance of existing modules and routines in Protheus.
- Optimize the performance of routines, queries, and processes within the Protheus environment.
- Conduct code review sessions, ensuring quality, standardization, and best practices within the team.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to Junior and Mid-level analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Perform effort and deadline estimates for high-complexity demands.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools that can add value to the Protheus environment and development processes.
- Handle critical support tickets: investigate complex errors, data discrepancies, and unexpected system behaviors.
Requirements and qualifications
👍 YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Completed higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related areas.
- Proven experience in development and analysis of TOTVS Protheus systems.
- ADVPL/TLPP: Advanced.
- Protheus Data Dictionary: Solid knowledge of structure and functioning.
- Web Services: Mastery in consuming and exposing Web Services (REST and SOAP) in the Protheus context.
- SQL Server: Mastery in data modeling, writing, and optimizing complex queries.
- Version Control: Experience with Git and advanced workflows.
- Agile/Waterfall Methodologies: Solid Scrum/Kanban practices and mastery of the full cycle: planning, requirements, scope, development, validation, training, Go Live, and Post-Go Live.
- Technical English: Advanced. Reading and interpreting technical documentation in English.
