Your most important tasks in this position will include:
- supervising and optimizing sea freight operations (FCL/LCL).
- coordinating the work and motivating the subordinate team.
- monitoring performance indicators and compliance with procedures.
- independent organization and control of order fulfillment in the area of FCL and LCL sea freight
- guaranteeing the correct preparation and flow of documents
- ongoing and direct contact with customers and cooperation with shipping lines and the company's subcontractors
- cooperation with cargo-partner offices and freight forwarding agents worldwide
- developing freight forwarding activities by ensuring high service quality and a positive cargo-partner image
Candidate profile:
- documented minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- very good knowledge of the market in the transport and forwarding industry
- very good knowledge of the English language
- very good work organization and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under time pressure
- conscientiousness and accuracy in performing assigned duties
- communication skills and orientation towards direct cooperation with the customer
- ability to work in a team
- practical knowledge of the MS Office suite
