We are looking for a NIGHT RECEPTIONIST for Star Arctic Hotel in Saariselkä

Star Arctic Hotel is located in the fell landscapes of Saariselkä, on the summit of Kaunispää, in Finnish Lapland. The hotel offers its guests high-quality accommodation, restaurant, and program services in the midst of Lapland's unique nature. An international clientele arrives to experience the magic of Lapland, the northern lights, and Arctic adventures, and our reception team ensures that every guest feels welcome around the clock.

We are now looking for a night receptionist for the winter season. During the night shift, you will act as the hotel's most important contact person during the night, taking care of reception operations and ensuring that the hotel night proceeds safely and smoothly. As a night receptionist, you will monitor reservations, prepare upcoming guest arrivals and schedules, and handle other administrative tasks during the night. During the night shift, you will work independently, but at the same time, you are an important part of the hotel's professional and international team.

The employment relationship is estimated to begin on 15.11.2026 and continue until 31.3.2027. The working hours are 90 hours / 3 weeks.

We hope from you

• Previous experience in reception work, especially night shifts
• A customer-oriented, responsible, and solution-oriented work attitude
• The ability to work independently
• Thoroughness, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
• Experience with hotel systems; proficiency in the Mews system is considered an advantage. Knowledge of the FareHarbor system is also a plus.
• Fluent English language skills, as our working language is primarily English
• A valid B-driver's license (having your own car is considered an advantage)
