Finance & HR Specialist – NOA Villas, Sodankylä

Would you like to build the finance and HR foundation for a new international destination in Lapland?

NOA Villas was designed to blend into the landscape: locally sourced timber, ground-source heating and dark-sky lighting. Our guests come from all over the world, and our team is international.

We are now looking for a finance professional who will also act as a bridge between Finnish employment practices and our international ownership. This is a permanent position.

Your role

Running and developing payroll and related processes

Supporting the owners and management in interpreting Finnish employment legislation, collective agreements and statutory obligations

Contributing to shift planning and working-time monitoring together with the operations team

Building HR practices: employment contracts, onboarding, documentation

Taking part in planning and delivering the resort's day-to-day operations in your own area – seasonal fluctuation, resourcing and keeping things running smoothly

We expect

Experience in finance and administration, particularly in payroll

Knowledge of Finnish employment and payroll legislation

The ability to explain complex matters clearly – in English as well

An independent, well-organised approach and the motivation to build ways of working from the ground up

Considered an advantage

Familiarity with collective agreements, especially in the hospitality and restaurant sector

Experience in seasonal business or the tourism industry

Experience of working in an international environment
