*Job Summary:* The Health Care Aide (HCA) provides compassionate, client-centered care to individuals receiving support in their homes. Working with Care at Home Services in Banff, the HCA assists clients with daily living activities, promotes independence, and helps maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. This role supports clients with varying health needs, including seniors, individuals recovering from illness or surgery, and those requiring long-term assistance. The Health Care Aide works collaboratively with nurses, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality home health care services.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support mobility and safe transfers using proper techniques and equipment
- Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe home environment
- Monitor and report changes in clients? health or behavior to the care team
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Adhere to infection control, safety procedures, and organizational policies
*Qualifications:*
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent training
- Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Experience in home care, long-term care, or community health considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive approach to care
*Work Environment:* The Health Care Aide works in clients? private homes within the Banff area. The role may involve flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on client needs.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
