IT Operations Engineer
PT Smart Tech Cash (STC) is a growing FinTech and payment solutions company providing payment infrastructure and merchant services through CardEasy, including EDC/POS terminals, SoundBox devices, merchant onboarding, and transaction services.
We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to ensure the stability and smooth operation of our payment terminals, systems, networks, and backend services. You will work closely with our R&D and Operations teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain reliable payment services. If you have experience in IT Operations, infrastructure, POS/payment systems, and technical troubleshooting, join us with these categories :
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Operations, Technical Support, System Operations, Infrastructure, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to use English as a daily working language with Chinese/Indonesian teams and business partners.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, system monitoring, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Able to troubleshoot common hardware, software, terminal, system, and network issues.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows, MySQL, Redis, Nginx, Docker/Podman, cloud services, and system monitoring/logging tools.
- Experience in system deployment, configuration, upgrades, log analysis, and incident troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting or maintaining servers, networks, databases, middleware, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with mPOS/POS/Android terminals, payment systems, fintech platforms, or agent systems is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues and follow them through to resolution.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and handle urgent technical issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with R&D, Operations, agents, merchants, and external partners.
- Able to follow IT security, compliance, and data confidentiality requirements.
- Willing to work shifts and/or be on-call when required.
Preferred Background:
- Experience working in fintech, digital payments, e-wallets, payment gateways, acquiring, or merchant payment solutions.
- Experience with Indonesian payment or wallet companies such as OVO, DANA, ShopeePay, GoPay, or similar payment/acquiring companies
