ServiceNow Developer - ServiceNow ITOM Event Management Developer
About the company
At Horizonte, we are looking for a ServiceNow ITOM Event Management Developer with an advanced English level and active certifications to join global IT operations management projects at a corporate level. The central objective of the role is to design, implement, configure, and maintain ServiceNow Event Management solutions, integrating enterprise observability and monitoring platforms, building advanced alert correlation and suppression rules, and automating operational incident flows based on events.
Your tasks
- Design, configure, implement, and support ServiceNow Event Management solutions in productive enterprise environments.
- Configure Event Management architecture, event ingestion patterns, and operational control dashboards.
- Develop and maintain event rules, processing rules, and alert management configurations.
- Configure alert correlation, suppression, deduplication, and noise reduction mechanisms in monitoring.
- Implement automations for incident creation from events and workflows driven by operational alerts.
- Design and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or other corporate platforms.
- Develop robust integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, MID Servers, Webhooks, IntegrationHub, and Scripted APIs.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and support areas to ensure correct synchronization of the configuration management database and service mapping.
Requirements
Indispensable Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in development on the ServiceNow platform.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable practical experience implementing ServiceNow ITOM Event Management in production enterprise environments.
- Mandatory and current certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- End-to-end experience in Event Management deployments from the design phase to go-live and post-production support.
- Proficiency in development with JavaScript within the ServiceNow environment.
- Practical experience in MID Servers administration, Flow Designer, and use of IntegrationHub.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
- Advanced English level
