Python Developer

To work in CDMX (3 days in-person and 2 days home office)

Requirements:

• Intermediate-advanced conversational English is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems, Informatics, Information Technologies, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of verifiable experience in Backend development using Python.
• Solid handling of modern web frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Creation, consumption, integration, and documentation of RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and/or gRPC.
• Verifiable handling of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis), as well as the use of ORMs (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
• Experience in writing clean, modular code and application of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Creation and execution of unit and integration tests (PyTest, Unittest).
• Knowledge in container integration (Docker) and familiarity with deployments in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Desirable experience in asynchronous processing and task queues (Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis) or event-based architectures (Kafka).
• Version control with Git and management of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative work.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and high-performance backend services using Python.
• Build and integrate robust RESTful APIs to connect frontend services, mobile applications, or third-party systems.
• Design, optimize, and query database schemas to ensure integrity and speed in data management.
• Implement unit and automated tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical problems or bottlenecks in development and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and propose best practices for development and architecture.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA, and Product) within an agile environment.
