Middleware Administrator

Requirements:

• Intermediate-advanced conversational English mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems, Informatics, Information Technologies, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of verifiable experience in installation, configuration, administration, and performance tuning of application servers and Middleware tools.
• Solid experience with application server platforms such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss / Red Hat WildFly, or GlassFish.
• Management of web servers and reverse proxies such as Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, or IIS.
• Experience in administration of messaging brokers (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, or ActiveMQ).
• Mastery of Linux/Unix operating systems and development of automation scripts (Bash, Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
• Knowledge of security protocols, SSL/TLS certificate management, keystores, SSH, and hardening best practices.
• Experience in Middleware integration with container environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Use of monitoring and performance diagnostic tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.).
• Version control with Git and management of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative work.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and update application servers and Middleware components in development, testing, and production environments.
• Guarantee high availability, scalability, load balancing, and optimal performance tuning of the integration infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents in the Middleware layer, performing Root Cause Analysis and memory dumps (thread/heap dumps).
• Manage platform security through SSL/TLS certificate management, security patches, and access policies.
• Automate repetitive deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks using scripting and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Database, Infrastructure, and Security teams for the production deployment of new applications.
• Participate in on-call shifts and Level 2/3 support for the handling of critical incidents in production systems.
