Cloud DevOps Engineer

Capital Empresarial Horizonte, a Mexican company specializing in Human Resources and Information Technology, requests: Cloud DevOps Engineer. Conversational English is mandatory. Hybrid work scheme in CDMX or Guadalajara.

Your tasks

• Mandatory Requirements: 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar roles. Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure. Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar). Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting with Bash and PowerShell. Experience in monitoring and observability using tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus. Ability to resolve incidents related to infrastructure, deployments, and cloud platforms. Experience working in agile and collaborative environments. Desirable: Knowledge of Python for automation. Experience with AWS CDK. Experience in hybrid environments (Cloud and On-Premise). AWS or Azure certifications. Knowledge of DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Main Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate integration, testing, and application deployment processes. Manage and automate infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform and CloudFormation). Implement, operate, and optimize container-based platforms using Docker and Kubernetes. Monitor the availability, performance, and reliability of applications and infrastructure through observability, logging, and alerting tools. Participate in production deployments, incident resolution, operational support, and on-call rotations. Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to improve processes, strengthen automation, and promote DevOps best practices.
