Job Objective

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a Backend and Artificial Intelligence orientation, capable of designing, developing, and bringing to production scalable solutions using Python, FastAPI, Cloud, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.

The person will be responsible for building high-performance backend services and generative AI applications, participating in decisions regarding architecture, system design, API integration, RAG architectures, and multi-agent systems.

Technical Requirements

• Solid experience in Python and FastAPI.
• Experience in software development and Backend/Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications in production.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Generative AI.
• Experience with LLM model APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph.
• Experience developing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Multi-Agent systems.
• Experience with microservices architectures and scalable system design.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka, Pub/Sub, or SQS.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firestore, among others.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one Cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and automated deployments.
• Desirable experience with GCP, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and Google Cloud Storage.
• Desirable knowledge of MLOps, model serving, feature stores, and LLM evaluation/observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
• Develop robust REST APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems.
• Participate in architectural decisions related to scalability, security, availability, and performance.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka, Pub/Sub, or SQS.
• Design and optimize data models in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Cloud/Kubernetes platforms.
• Design and develop Generative AI solutions using modern LLM ecosystems.
• Build production-level RAG architectures, including retrieval pipelines and vector databases.
• Implement LLM orchestration through LangChain, LlamaIndex, and/or LangGraph.
• Design Prompt Engineering strategies to improve accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Develop AI Agents / Multi-Agent Systems solutions.
• Integrate third-party AI models and services.
• Implement evaluation, observability, tracing, and monitoring mechanisms for LLM applications.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and inference costs.
• Participate in the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Resolve production incidents and problems, improving platform reliability.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Prepare PRDs, Technical Design Documents, and RFCs.
• Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, ML Engineering, and DevOps teams.
