IT Risk and Control Specialist

Requirements:

• Intermediate-advanced conversational English
• Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems, Informatics, Computing, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in IT auditing, technological risk management, internal control, or regulatory compliance (GRC).
• Solid experience in the evaluation and implementation of IT General Controls (ITGC) and application controls.
• Mastery and application of international regulatory frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, and compliance regulations (SOX, PCI-DSS).
• Experience in the preparation and updating of IT risk matrices, heat maps, and remediation plans for findings.
• Direct participation in addressing internal and external IT audits.
• Desirable to have professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
• Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, negotiation, and the ability to write executive reports.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and monitor operational and technological risks within the organization's infrastructure and systems.
• Design, evaluate the effectiveness of, and follow up on IT internal controls (access, change management, operations, backup, and recovery).
• Coordinate and address requirements for internal and external audits, as well as reviews by regulators or clients.
• Define and drive corrective action plans to resolve deficiencies and findings identified in IT processes.
• Monitor compliance with information security policies, standards, and procedures, as well as IT technologies.
• Prepare reports and indicators (KRI/KPI) regarding the technological risk posture for senior management.
