We are looking for an ETL Developer specializing in DataStage to join our delivery center in Toluca. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex data integration flows, ensuring the integrity and availability of information for strategic projects on a global scale.

Main Responsibilities

  • ETL Development: Design and develop jobs (parallel and sequential) using IBM InfoSphere DataStage (v11.x or higher).
  • Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in loading processes and perform job tuning to improve performance.
  • Data Modeling: Interpret data models (star/snowflake) and map the data flow from source to destination.
  • Maintenance: Provide technical support and error correction in existing production processes.
  • Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including data flow diagrams and mapping specifications.

Technical Requirements

  • Core Tool: Solid experience (minimum 3 years) working with IBM DataStage.
  • Database: Advanced mastery of SQL (Oracle, DB2, Teradata, or SQL Server) and writing Stored Procedures.
  • Operating Systems: Basic experience in Unix/Linux environments and command handling (Shell Scripting).
  • Data Quality: Knowledge in data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
  • Methodology: Experience working on projects under traditional (Waterfall) or Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of other IBM tools such as QualityStage or Information Analyzer.
  • Basic experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with version control tools.
  • English: Advanced Level (Indispensable) for communication with international teams.
