Requirements

Indispensable

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform roles.
  • Solid and hands-on experience in:
  • Databricks (Delta Lake, workflows, DAG).
  • Apache Airflow / Astronomer.
  • Python, SQL, dbt, AWS.
  • Verifiable experience implementing CI/CD frameworks (Harness, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Deep understanding of:

  • Data governance (catalogs, lineage, contracts, metadata).
  • Data Quality techniques and Data Masking.
  • Enterprise data platforms and Data Marketplace ecosystems.
  • Experience in API-based integrations (e.g., entitlement/access systems like AccessCentral).
  • Management of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, development, and implementation of enterprise-level Data Engineering and Data Platform solutions.
  • Build and maintain workflows, DAGs, and processing pipelines with Databricks (Delta Lake) and Apache Airflow / Astronomer.
  • Develop and optimize data models and transformations using Python, SQL, dbt on AWS infrastructure.
  • Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using Harness, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Implement data governance strategies and controls, lineage, data contracts, metadata, data quality, and masking techniques.
  • Architect and integrate enterprise data platforms and Data Marketplace ecosystems.
  • Design and implement API-based integrations with entitlement systems (e.g., AccessCentral).
  • Configure, supervise, and maintain continuous observability and monitoring of platforms with tools such as Datadog.
