OutSystems Low-Code Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Low Code Engineer with strong OutSystems expertise to design, develop, enhance and support enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be involved in application development, system integration, production support and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring delivery of secure, scalable and reliable solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using the OutSystems platform to meet business requirements Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions within OutSystems Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, web services, and other enterprise integration methods to enable seamless system connectivity Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, and optimize performance to improve reliability and user experience Support application deployments, upgrades, and production releases ensuring minimal downtime and smooth transitions Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system issues to maintain operational stability Monitor application performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to align solutions with organizational goals Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support materials for applications and integrations Ensure compliance with established security, governance, and development standards to safeguard applications and data Required competencies and certifications Hands-on experience with OutSystems Service Studio, LifeTime, and Service Center for application development and management Proficiency in C# and .NET technologies to develop custom components and extend OutSystems capabilities Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database development to design and optimize data storage solutions Knowledge of REST APIs and system integration concepts to build and maintain interoperable systems Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development and customization Experience using Git version control and CI/CD practices to manage source code and automate deployments Understanding of application security principles and secure development practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities Experience working in Agile project environments to deliver iterative and incremental software solutions Minimum 4 years of hands-on OutSystems development experience Minimum 6 years of overall software development experience Experience in enterprise application development, deployment, and support Preferred competencies and qualifications Exposure to cloud-hosted applications and modern development frameworks to support scalable and flexible solutions
