About the role We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead cloud architecture, DevSecOps and AIOps initiatives for public-sector and regulated-industry programmes. The role will be responsible for designing and delivering secure, resilient and scalable platforms

Key Responsibilities Lead cloud architecture, migration and modernisation initiatives across GCC, AWS, Azure and hybrid environments. Design secure cloud landing zones, container platforms, integration solutions and resilient cloud services. Lead DevSecOps implementation using the Ship-Hats stack, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes and automated security controls. Establish architecture governance, security-by-design, observability, vulnerability management and operational-resilience practices. Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams comprising cloud, DevSecOps, platform, security and application specialists. Provide technical direction, delivery oversight, resource planning, mentoring and escalation support. Collaborate with clients, programme leaders, security teams and technology partners to manage technical decisions, risks and dependencies. Contribute to AIOps and Generative AI initiatives to improve engineering productivity, automation, incident analysis and service reliability.

Required Experience Extensive experience in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, platform engineering or technology transformation. Strong experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCC or comparable government cloud environments. Practical knowledge of Ship-Hats, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, containers, Kubernetes and cloud security. Proven experience managing technical teams and delivering complex cloud programmes. Strong stakeholder management, architecture governance, communication and mentoring capabilities.
