Planning and Control Technician - Offshore - 14x14
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and other tools in the Office Package, must have mastery and aptitude for preparing reports and pivot table charts in Microsoft Excel.
- Language: Intermediate level English. Proficiency in the foreign language will be proven through a company statement or a course completion certificate and/or training.
- Mandatory basic knowledge in industrial painting activities; fabrication and assembly of metallic piping; fabrication and assembly of metallic structures.
EXPERIENCE
Up to 6 years of experience as a Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Technician in large-scale projects in the oil and gas or industrial industry.
EDUCATION
Level of Instruction: Technical Level (Mechanical Technician or Electrotechnical Technician or Industrial Automation Technician)
At least 2 professionals must possess qualification with SNQC-CPN1 or NACE CIP 1 certificate provided by ABRACO or NACE. (It is a differentiator if the candidate has it)
DUTIES
Support the interaction between the contractor's own teams and service providers, the client's technical staff, and inspection, focusing on the integration and organization of activities;
Monitor the daily progress of scheduled services, proving supervision by inspection and ensuring that all activities are within the established parameters;
Propose actions to inspection that seek to meet the scope and/or deadline, maintaining total control over planned and scheduled activities;
Adjust the received planning into monthly, bimonthly, and quarterly micro-plannings, ensuring the efficient use of available resources;
Inform inspection about any threat to scope/deadline fulfillment or points of attention, recording the information in the RAM;
Present models for reports (RDO, Quality Report, Technical Visit Report, Weekly Monitoring Report, and Monthly Monitoring Report) and ensure release after evaluation;
Negotiate and schedule activities together with the platform planning team (PI), ensuring full fulfillment of necessary materials, equipment, and human resources;
Monitor, correct, and adjust the planning provided by service providers, maintaining frequent contact with the technical staff and operation teams;
Conduct daily meetings with the material control and quality control teams, collecting information and adjusting the service schedule;
Conduct daily meetings to update and inform about the status of ongoing services, identifying impediments and corrective actions;
Analyze and update the project S-curve, proposing action plans when necessary, and evaluating risks to the fulfillment of scheduled tasks;
Share information with the ONSHORE Scheduling and Control team and issue weekly Campaign or Shutdown monitoring reports.
