Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter
An established bathroom and kitchen installation business based in Kingswinford, working across domestic properties, is looking for an experienced Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter to join the team on preferably a self-employed basis, but permanent employed basis will be considered. You will take jobs from start to finish - strip-out through to final finish - working in customers' homes and representing the business directly with clients.
What we offer
Pay rate for employed will be c. £35,000 - £40,000, and sub-contract day rate around £170 - £200. Rates will vary dependent on level of skill and experience and will be reviewed regularly.

Key responsibilities of the Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter
- Complete bathroom and kitchen installations
- First and second-fix carpentry associated with installations, plus basic plumbing connections and adaptations
- Wall and floor tiling, silicone and sealant finishing; minor plastering, patch repairs and making good after installation
- Willing to collect materials from designated suppliers on company accounts
- Working from CAD drawings and elevation plans where supplied
- Coordinating with other trades to keep jobs on programme
- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work area, and leaving each property clean on completion
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete jobs to programme, delivering a professional standard of customer service in occupied domestic properties
- Good communication and customer-facing manner, with strong attention to detail and pride in finish quality
- Working within Health, Safety and Building Regulations requirements at all times
A 12-month guarantee is given on work carried out. You will be responsible to rectify any issues within this time on jobs you have completed
Essential requirements of a Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years’) fitting both bathrooms and kitchens to a high standard.
- Own full set of professional hand and power tools (including router, jigsaw/track saw, levels, SDS)
- Own van and full UK driving licence
- Public liability insurance (self-employed applicants)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40-45 hours per week
