*Responsibilities*

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee key areas continuously
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for staff, visitors, and vendors
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting findings appropriately
• Perform routine inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs

*Experience*

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is essential for effective monitoring
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to deter theft and ensure asset protection
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism and composure
• Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in identifying potential security threats
• Minimum 1 Year of experience in Security or Customer Service(retail/commercial environment preferred)

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

• North York, ON M3L 1Y3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
