Canadian Tire Polo Park is accepting applications for Permanent Part time Licensed Security Guard position for immediate hiring.
Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to
- Patrolling the building perimeter and premises
- Noting the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other individuals
- Monitoring our video surveillance system and reviewing footage if necessary
- Responding to alarms and calls of security concern
- Alerting authorities if needed for emergencies or security breaches
- Addressing any infractions of building rules and/or forwarding them to the appropriate level of management
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications
- Registered as a Security Officer
- Minimum one year experience as a Security Guard in a Retail setting or similar role
- Must be able to work a variable shift schedule including night shifts and weekends
- Security Guard: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification
- Security Guard Licence (required)
