AfterSchool Care Tuition Specialist
About the role Join our afterschool care team to guide, inspire, and support primary and secondary students. Operating in alignment with the GenieHouse student care framework, our center combines structured afterschool care with academic mentorship and AI-driven learning tools. In this role, you will lead engaging tuition classes for students Primary 1 to 6, provide personalized learning support, and build a positive, growth-oriented environment for our students. Key responsibilities Adapt and execute structured lesson plans aligned with local syllabi, delivering effective learning strategies that drive academic improvement for Primary 1-6 students. Able to teach minimum 2 subjects (either Eng, Math or Science)
Conduct lively, interactive group lessons that build critical thinking, active participation, and confidence in students
Track individual learning progress using digital analytics to tailor personalized learning plans for every student
Offer 1-on-1 consultations and homework guidance in person and via our messaging platform to clear student queries
Maintain proactive, transparent communication with parents to keep them informed of their child's academic development and center progress
About you Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Fresh graduates with a strong drive to teach are welcome to apply. Any experience in teaching will be an added bonus.
Strong passion for education, student mentorship, and holistic student welfare
Energetic, inspiring, and capable of tailoring instruction to cater to different learning styles
Familiarity with Singapore MOE syllabi (Primary, 'O' Level, or 'A' Level equivalents)
Comfortable adopting smart learning platforms, digital teaching aids, and communication apps
Excellent communication skills, strong team player, proactive work ethic, high integrity, and professional standards
Adaptable working hours, with availability to work on weekends or public holidays as required by the center calendar. 3 Weekdays 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM + 2 Weekends 9 AM - 6 PM
