Test Engineer

We are looking for several test engineers who want to join us and contribute to ensuring our customers have the world's best systems to support the healthcare process in all its parts.

As a tester at Cambio, you will be part of a team consisting of both junior and senior testers, developers, and architects, working in an environment where our goal is to be first-class within our domain as well as generally within software development and testing. We work in a modern development environment where the foundation for effective testing is built on test automation and the tester's competence within the domain and the system.

About the role

You are interested in improving how we work and provide opinions on the testing process and test automation. You will write and update test cases, in writing and program code, and work with exploratory testing. You will write bug reports but also investigate bug reports from customers in a broad sense. You feel a responsibility for ensuring that the product you work with is released with high quality. You will automate tests. You can empathize with an ordinary user's daily life and apply that to how you test.

Desired qualifications

The right attitude is the most important thing for us. You truly want to work to develop the testing field and your own competence within Cambio.

• Higher education from a college or university, likely in computer science or equivalent competence.
• Knowledge of industrial software testing, especially different forms of test automation.

• Knowledge of object-oriented languages, preferably Java.
• We would prefer if you have knowledge of modern web development in Angular, Javascript, and CSS.

• Knowledge of support systems around modern software development, such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jira, SonarQube, and Docker is meritorious.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

You are a tech-interested person with a passion for testing, with or without experience from professional software testing. You enjoy working in teams and want to contribute to the entire team succeeding in its tasks. You thrive in an international context and communicate effortlessly in English, both with developers, testers, and other employees. Since our largest development site is in Sri Lanka, travel there may occur as part of the job. This will, of course, be adapted to the employee's preferences and situation. The role is adapted to the applicant's individual profile and experience. We always adapt the tasks and responsibilities to your competence rather than the other way around.
